As an IT Automation Engineer you will:

We are working with an amazing client who is seeking a smart, driven, IT professional with Automation experience to join their existing automation team.
Want to use industry leading tools like Ansible Tower, Splunk, Azure DevOps and NetBox to automate existing process and help design them into new technology projects? This is your chance to learn more and potentially find a long-term rewarding role.
Requirements and Preferences:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent plus 3 years of experience in Software Development, Network Engineering or System Engineering required.
- Passion and willingness to join an existing automation team, with the understanding that you’d be trained and asked to learn best practices for automation tasks in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with automating windows/Linux/Virtualization infrastructure
- Experience or desire to learn and use automation frameworks such as Ansible AAP, Splunk, Azure DevOps. Relevant experience with Chef, CFEngine or Puppet considered
- Experience or desire to learn a combination of python, jinja, PowerShell, and YAML for automating network or infrastructure configuration deployments.
- Experience or willingness to work in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins
- Experience working with Git repositories and GitOps practices in an agile development environment preferred
- Background and knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as networking or server administration desired
- Familiarity with SRE (Site reliability engineering) concepts
Pay Rate: <$50.00-80.00 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
